Got the Bunting Bug!

Really loved making this Bunting for my boyfriends nephew. I thought it would be quite complicated but it really wasn't. In fact I'm looking forward to starting my next one....looks like I've caught the bunting bug!

what a difference a lick of paint can make!

Before and After....

I bought this set of drawers for £20 at a junk shop and painted them up, kept the original handles because they were beautiful underneath that horrendous green colour. Was really please with myself afterwards but I cannot put into words how much paint stripper I went through...deary me. not sure I would have risen to this challenge if i'd have known just how messy and time consuming it would be!

Final Project of year 2..Done!

Really pleased with my final outcome from this project, I was keen to ditch the standard pencil and sketchbook this time, and get creative! Using a mixture of home dried flowers and fabric formations I created a wallpaper like no other. It has to be seen up close to fully be appreciated I think. the colours came out great and the patterns are really interesting too. All computer aided, but like always a touch of handmade charm!

B is for bureau .

The bureau we restored. We bought this from a junk shop and repainted it in a pale grey and added some gorgeous glass knobs in different colours to add a touch of the vintage charm, came out really nice and its so useful too!

.HAWARTH.

Absolutely loved my day out to Hawarth with Stu, As you can see, the shops were well up his street!

Beautiful Temple Newsam...

A recent trip to Temple Newsam got the ball rolling for my last project of year 2....
